Hyundai Hope On Wheels

Hope On Wheels is Hyundai's non-profit organization started in 1998 to fight childhood cancer.  Hope On Wheels is dedicated to raising awareness about childhood cancer, celebrating the hope of the brave children battling the disease and supporting the research and programs that bring us closer to better treatments, therapies and, ultimately, a cure.

For every new Hyundai sold, $5 will be donated to Hope On Wheels.  So far, Hope On Wheels has raised over $23 million dollars.  To make a donation please visit: http://www.hyundaihopeonwheels.org/index.aspx

"Last night as I sat on the couch I was jolted up by a very surprising commercial. Really.. a major company trying to raise awareness about Childhood cancer?  I was in shock to say the least!  I began to cry!  Four years ago my daughter Elizabeth was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma.  Since then she has gone into heart failure because the chemotherapy damaged her heart and her cancer has come back 2 times now.  She is a very spunky 9 years old with a heart of gold.  She currently has a tumor in her lung that the doctors are unable to remove because it is to small.
From the bottom of my heart I would like to say thank you for helping to spread the word about childhood cancer.  Because Hyundai is willing to spread awareness I truly believe that one day a cure for cancer will be found and "gold will be the new pink"!  Thanks again!"

"A lot of people talk about what can't be done.  These guys are stepping up and they do something; they talk about what they can do to help families in this community and across the country." - Michael Rose, Carolinas Health Foundation, quoted on News 14 Carolina
